Make You Stand Out
Global Macro
A global macro strategy is an investment and trading strategy that is based on the interpretation of large macroeconomic events on the national, regional, and global scale. For the successful implementation of a global macro strategy, fund managers analyze various macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. These include interest rates, currency exchange rates, levels of international trade, political events, and international relations.
Investment
Understanding Investment ,Investing is putting money to work to start or expand a project - or to purchase an asset or interest - where those funds are then put to work, with the goal to income and increased value over time. The term "investment" can refer to any mechanism used for generating future income. Investment is oriented toward future returns, and thus entails some degree of risk.
Entrepreneur
Starting a business is not easy, and scaling it is even harder. But the strongest fuel is a personal connection to what you’re doing. It could be that you have experience working in an industry and understand its shortcomings firsthand. Or perhaps you’re part of a consumer segment that’s underserved by the current offerings. Maybe you’re simply met with a very specific frustration every day, that others are sure to share.
Portfolio Theory
Modern portfolio theory argues that an investment's risk and return characteristics should not be viewed alone, but should be evaluated by how the investment affects the overall portfolio's risk and return. MPT shows that an investor can construct a portfolio of multiple assets that will maximize returns for a given level of risk.
Analytical skills
The goal of financial analytics is to shape the strategy for business through reliable, factual insight rather than intuition. By offering detailed views of companies' financial data, financial analytics provides the tools for firms to gain deep knowledge of key trends and take action to improve their performance.
Modeling & Quant
A quantitative analyst uses mathematical models and applies them to financial markets in order to support the trading and risk management departments that operate in banks and financial institutions. A career as a quant requires a strong background in math, with analysts often getting advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in the field. These types of jobs are much less common than traditional financial analysts who work across the finance industry.
ELIGIBILITY
The program accepts up to 40 participants globally who are under the age of 18 at the time of applying and recognized as having high potential for an organizational leadership role.
